So you've sent your tax return off to Uncle Sam, right? Now you're patiently waiting for your refund check (okay, maybe not so patiently). Want to know when to expect that check? Of course you do.

The IRS says that information is available on their site about three days after acknowledging receipt of an e-Filed return, or three to four weeks after you've mailed in a paper return. You'll need your social security number, filing status, and exact whole dollar amount of your refund. Once you've gathered all that, check out the IRS Where's My Refund? page.
