My Mother In Law (81 yrs old) had a RX to move to GA because there was no one to look after her in Raleigh,NC. She moved in with her son and daughter in law in GA. Are the moving cost involved tax deductible. ((the moving van moving her furniture to our house)

Sorry, I'm afraid not. The only moving expenses that are deductible are related to moving to a new job location. Transportation or travel are allowed as a deduction to obtain medical expenses. So if your mother-in-law traveled to Ga to receive treatment and she would not have made the trip otherwise that would be deductible.
