Income minimums determine whether or not you have to file, there is no age maximum. These minimums vary based on your filing status (married, single, etc), your age, and what type of income you are receiving. You can find these limits for your situation at the IRS website (www.irs.gov) in the individuals section. The limits are also on the 1040 instructions. Even if you don't HAVE to file you may WANT to. Typically if you didn't make enough to require you to file you will get a tax refund and may be eligible for certain tax credits. I hope this helps, I would be happy to help you file your return. Hopefully we can get you a nice refund!
