Value $0.00

I did a single contracting job for 2 home investors to rehab a house. As of today Feb 13, 2010 have not received a 1099-misc yet. I have not been able to get a hold of the them via phone calls or email. I have left many voice mails and emails. What do I do and if I do not ever receive a 1099-misc how to I file my taxes. I do have a signed contract detailing the work to be done and the labor that was payed for the contract. Of the labor cost 90% of the total was paid in out for the job ending Dec 31, 2010.

I've already tried...
This was a one time job for me as a favor to help out the two investors.

You do not have to have the 1099 MISC in order to do your taxes.

Just make sure that your Schedule C accounts for all the money you rec'd in 2009. I think you meant that 90% was paid out for the job ending 12/31/2009?

If you get the balance in 2010, then you will put that on your 2010 tax return.
