where can i go to find a chart on the percentages and/or dollar amount taken out of my paycheck for taxes

Normally each paycheck of yours should have a summary/stub attached wherein it shows the gross amount and amounts deducted for social security/medicare, federal and state withholdings and any other deductions. You can certainly request your payroll/HR department for this detailed break-up of taxes - They should be in a position to provide you these details since they themselves would be filing quarterly payroll returns as an employer.Almost every place these days has some kind of software to run their payrolls - it would be able to generate these details.
