On the 2009 married filing jointly schedule, how would the taxes be figured on 75000 income using the chart. Would you still add the extra 9350 to the taxes that are figured? Thank you. TE

I've already tried...

Based on the 2009 Tax Table in US Master Tax Guide 2010, on page 42 for MFJ and line 43 taxable income of $ 75,000 the tax amount would be $ 11,119.00.

I am not sure where you are getting the amount of $ 9,350.00 from?

Are you doing your tax return manually?

What publication are you using for the tax chart mentioned above?
